Plant Care 101: Watering, Light, and Soil Requirements

Watering Frequency: Understand each plant's watering needs, typically checking soil moisture before watering to prevent over or under-watering.

Light Exposure: Place plants according to their light preferences, whether low, medium, or bright indirect light, to ensure optimal growth and health.

Light Duration: Ensure plants receive adequate light duration daily, adjusting their placement or using grow lights if natural light is insufficient.

Soil Type: Use well-draining soil specific to each plant's needs, whether succulent mix, potting soil, or orchid bark, to prevent waterlogging and root rot.

Soil Moisture: Maintain appropriate soil moisture levels, allowing the soil to partially dry out between waterings for most plants to avoid root suffocation.

Watering Method: Water plants thoroughly, ensuring water reaches the root zone, and allow excess water to drain freely from the pot to prevent waterlogged soil.

Seasonal Adjustments: Adjust watering frequency and light exposure based on seasonal changes, considering factors like temperature and humidity to meet plant needs effectively.

Water Quality: Use room temperature, filtered, or distilled water to avoid harmful chemicals or minerals that can damage plant roots or leaves.
